What is required to get started?
You can get started by opening the ‘Money’ tab in the TruckSmarter app or clicking here. The application only takes about five minutes and asks for a few key details about your business like MC or USDOT number, EIN, business address, and more. Upon completion of your factoring application, our team will review the application and contact you with next steps if we need any additional information or documentation.
Do I need to have to be/have a fleet or meet a specific criteria?
No! We offer 2% factoring to all carriers whether you have one truck or a large fleet. There are no minimums for factoring with TruckSmarter, and we do not have a long-term contract.
Is there a deadline to get paid on weekends or holidays?
We review and begin to process invoices within 24 hours of invoice upload. In order to receive same-day payment, your documents and load details will need to be uploaded in the TruckSmarter app no later than 10:00am ET.
How quickly may I get paid?
TruckSmarter cardholders may receive payments instantly upon our team approving the invoice upload in their managed bank account.
What is the TruckSmarter Card?
Although we provide the option for ACH and wire transfers, it can take days between your invoice submission and when you actually have access to your funds.
Once you submit an invoice, the TruckSmarter Card allows TruckSmarter to transfer funds to you safely and instantly* through your FDIC-insured account.
The TruckSmarter Card can be used anywhere Visa is accepted, plus you’ll get 1% cash back on every purchase. You can also transfer your funds to your other banking accounts.

What does FDIC-insured mean?
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Insured means that the bank account is insured at an institution where deposits are federally protected against bank failure or theft.
When do I receive my TruckSmarter Card?
You will receive your card within 14 days once your factoring application is approved. Once the debit card arrives at your mailing address on file, call 833-333-0417 to activate your card and set your PIN.
Do I need to have a specific equipment type?
No.
What brokers are currently supported?
Check out the “Money” tab of the TruckSmarter app for a complete list. We factor hundreds of approved brokers. If you do not see a broker that you’d like us to approve, submit your request directly in the app. We’ll run the credit check.
Is TruckSmarter Factoring non-recourse?
We are a non-recourse factoring company. This means if a broker goes bankrupt before paying TruckSmarter, you’re protected from collections and credit risk. However, you are responsible if your invoice is inaccurate, incorrect, or disputed.
If a broker does not pay TruckSmarter because the invoice is inaccurate, incorrect, or disputed, TruckSmarter will do everything we can to collect payment from the broker before billing you for the unpaid invoice(s).

What if I’m currently in a factoring contract but I want to switch to TruckSmarter?
We do not offer buyouts at this time. If you are in another contract, your application to factor with TruckSmarter will not be approved. Please wait until you’ve received a letter of release from your existing contract to apply.
